ABI-LAB is a biotech campus comprised of four incubator buildings, featuring over 140K SF of premium lab space in Natick. The newly constructed two-story research facility added ~35K SF of additional laboratory space, houses 25 new employees, and represents an $18 million investment to support the growth of early-stage and scaling biotech companies through fully customizable lab infrastructure. Through bi-weekly internal educational events, regular spring and fall community events, and partnerships with regional organizations, the company brings hundreds of life sciences professionals and students to ABI-LAB for networking and social connection. The campus supports a diverse mix of companies, with 20.5% international companies, 4.5% out-of-state companies, and 75% local companies. The ABI-LAB 3 facility hosts 50% international companies where 60% of the scientific leadership positions are held by women. Women make up 75% of ABI-LAB’s internal team, demonstrating its commitment to gender equity within the company.
