MassEcon Elects Board of Directors for 2011

WELLESLEY, MA, January 12, 2011 -The members of MassEcon elected Directors for 2011 at their year-end meeting held on December 10th at the UMass Club in Boston. Newly elected to the Board of Directors is Michelle Cammarata of KPMG. Cammarata is a skilled consultant with over 12 years of experience managing corporate site selection engagements, business incentive projects, and economic development consulting assignments. She also serves as Co-Chair of MassEcon’s Marketing Committee.

Robert Brustlin, President and CEO of Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, was elected to serve his second term as Chairman. Other Directors who were elected as Officers include Fred Mulligan of Cutler Associates as Vice Chairman, John Isberg of National Grid as Treasurer, and David Tibbetts of Merrimack Valley Economic Development Council as Clerk.

Robert Brustlin, Chairman of MassEcon said, “We look forward to providing leadership in economic development as the private sector partner promoting business expansion and job creation in Massachusetts and doing our part to assist
in the economic recovery.”

Directors re-elected to MassEcon’s Board include David Begelfer of NAIOP Massachusetts, Ned Bartlett of Bowditch & Dewey, Jack Burns of CresaPartners, Francesca Maltese of The O’Connell Development Group, and Bob Culver of MassDevelopment.
