Repligen is a bioprocessing company that develops and commercializes high value products and flexible solutions that address critical steps in the production of biologic drugs. The company invested $6 million in a 139K SF site in Shrewsbury where it houses 74 employees. This Shrewsbury site is an integral part of the Fluid Management business, creating and manufacturing safe storage options of for fluid through the upstream and downstream biologic creation process. In 2025, employees contributed to the Worcester County Food Bank, sponsored 30 children’s Christmas wish lists through Worcester DCF, sponsored an employee on a walk for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and completed a food drive for Project New Hope. Repligen has partnerships with local programs such as MBI and Bay Path Regional Vocational Tech that allows them to recruit people who may not have come through the standard path of high school, college degree, directly into industry. The company also provides feedback to the curriculum that’s taught in these programs to ensure students are learning appropriate concepts and tools to make them successful in the industry.
