Sterling Corporation is a Massachusetts-based logistics and relocation company providing five core service lines: Commercial Moving, Residential Moving, Specialty Freight & Logistics, Warehousing, and Life Science Logistics. Across nine facilities, Sterling operates more than 465,000 square feet of warehouse space supporting inventory management, distribution, and specialized storage for commercial, institutional, and life science clients. Opened in 2025, Sterling Life Science Logistics in Tewksbury represents the company’s newest and most advanced facility. This cGMP compliant, 20,000-square-foot biorepository supports the evolving needs of biotech, pharmaceutical, and laboratory organizations while prioritizing compliance, safety, sustainability, and operational resilience across the life sciences supply chain. The facility includes features such as solar energy capture and a backup battery power system to enhance both reliability and environmental performance. Sterling invested approximately $8 million in the project, creating five new positions with plans for an additional 35 jobs as the operation expands. An additional 2025 initiative was Sterling’s partnership with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Middlesex Community College to develop workforce training programs supporting the region’s life sciences talent pipeline.
