Boston Dynamics Expands Massachusetts Footprint with New 323,000 Square Foot Facility in Waltham
Global leader in mobile robotics, Boston Dynamics, plans to transform a 323K SF facility in Waltham, Massachusetts into an advanced robotics and AI center. The company plans to invest $100 million in the project, anticipates creating 1,250 new jobs by 2033, and expects to move into the new facility in phases beginning in mid 2027.
Metal manufacturer to build $1.3B ‘gigafactory’ in Mass., add 1,000 jobs
Advanced metal parts manufacturer VulcanForms committed to building a $1.3 billion manufacturing facility in Devens. This project marks its third Massachusetts facility, and its second in Devens, and will create 1,063 permanent jobs. Massachusetts approved $21.3 million in tax credits to support the expansion.
