Featured Speaker: Tom Glynn, CEO, Massport

With nearly 40 years of executive experience, Tom Glynn has led organizations in both the public and private sectors and at the state and federal level. As head of Massport, Glynn oversees an 1,100-person agency that owns and operates Boston Logan International Airport, Hanscom Field in Bedford, Worcester Regional Airport, the Port of Boston’s Conley Container Terminal and Black Falcon Cruise Terminal, and Massport-owned developments along the Boston Harbor waterfront. Massport’s annual $600 million operation is funded by the rates and charges the Authority collects from its facilities. Since becoming CEO, Glynn has overseen the redesign and rationalization of the terminal curbs at Boston Logan, worked to increase Boston’s global reach with new nonstop service from Boston to Panama, Dubai, Istanbul and Beijing and spearheaded the effort to protect Boston’s working maritime tradition – and the thousands of good-paying blue collar jobs connected to the Port. Glynn also has promoted high occupancy vehicle use to and from Logan and improved relations with Massport’s neighbors.
