Speaker: C.A. Webb, Executive Director of New England Venture Capital Association

C.A. began her career as a brand manager for Fast Company, working closely with magazine co-founders Bill Taylor and Alan Webber prior to Bertelsmann’s $350 million acquisition. She built entrepreneurial development programs at Boston Collegiate Charter School and Trinity Boston Foundation, then played a strategic marketing role for Whole Foods Market private label group, and ran marketing at Preserve, a leading maker of design driven, sustainable household products. She later served as Director of Marketing at Care.com (NASDAQ: CRCM)during that company’s startup phase. C.A. serves on the board of the Kendall Square Association and is a member of the development committee at the Community Charter School of Cambridge. She is a founding member of Sprout Lenders investing in local farmers and food entrepreneurs. She earned her undergraduate degree at Wellesley College, and her MBA at the Simmons School of Management, and now lives in Cambridge with her husband, Michael, and daughter Georgia.
