New Companies from Diverse Industries and Locations Put Down Stakes in Massachusetts

BOSTON, Massachusetts – April 16, 2014- MassEcon today is welcoming companies new to Massachusetts at its Sixth Annual Corporate Welcome Reception at Genzyme’s headquarters in Cambridge. The one-of-a-kind event brings together over 100 private sector leaders and senior state officials, including Secretary of Housing & Economic Development Greg Bialecki, to welcome companies that have recently opened offices in the state.

These companies include: Attend.com of Boston; BAUM Retec of Methuen; CareCloud of Boston; Cryogenetics of Woburn; Cybereason of Cambridge; Emirates Airline of Boston; EthoSolar of Marlborough; Facebook of Cambridge; Great Wolf Resorts of Fitchburg; Jabil/Nypro of Clinton; Labminds of Boston; McGraw-Hill of Boston; Menck of Chicopee; RapidMiner of Cambridge; Synacorof Westford; Velesco Pharma of Quincy; WeWork of Boston; and Wisetek of Franklin. The companies range from both start-ups to established businesses and their locations of origin include Germany, Norway, Canada, United Kingdom, Israel, Dubai, New York, California, Wisconsin, Florida, Michigan, and Massachusetts.  They represent a wide variety of industries including life sciences, technology, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, entertainment and more.
